[cc65] Renesas/Mitsubishi 740 family of CPUs

Does anyone have experience with the Renesas 740 family of CPUs? These were
formerly manufactured by Mitsubishi, and implement a superset of the 6502
instructions. See here for more information:

I would be interested in hearing about test/development hardware that is
usable from within Linux. This does either mean direct Linux software support
if the hardware uses something fancy (like an USB connection), or an operating
system independent interface to the hardware (like access to a monitor program
using RS232).
