As I have written it is similar what I tried with my own stupid program
however vice seems to be quite unstable with remote monitor, crashing etc.
Eg enabling IDE64 and giving the io command in monitor makes vice crashing
always (at least I am trying svn devel versions only since I need it for SFX
sound expander emulation which does not seem to work in earlier versions for
me at least)
