Thanks for the offer, but that's very specific and I'm not sure if things like
this should go into cc65. This doesn't mean, a special keyboard scanner isn't
a good thing, I just doubt that the cc65 distribution is the right place.

How about adding it to the contrib section, and/or add a short article in the
Wiki?
