Well, good.  It's a funny bug to have survived so long.  I'm guessing
it's a simple base error - loading a decimal 20 (PETSCII delete)
instead of a hexadecimal 20 (space) before calling BSOUT, but I
haven't looked at the BASIC ROM code to confirm.

But to steer back to the original question, is this something you can #ifdef?
