I don't have the schemtics and the keyboard scanner code in my head, so I
cannot tell for sure. But yes, that may be possible. Anyway, since a test is
cheap (just add

        while (kbhit()) cgetc();

in the right place), I would suggest to give it a try.

Yes, I think so. But maybe someone else has a better idea.
