Sorry but I'm not sure I got you right: Do you want to express that I am most probably right in my assumption that the workaround you proposed doesn't work and that a modification of the mousedriver is the only possible solution - given the kernal keyboard scanner. In that case I could only wait for an improved mouse driver - obviously apart from modifying it myself, correct?
