This was also my first idea. But I had some doubts, because it's not an
official kernal entry. There's a small chance that there are kernal
derivates out there which don't have this function at this place. But on
the other hand this is the solution with the smallest footprint.

So in my opinion this should be the right solution, at least until
somebody complains that it doesn't work with a certain kernal.
