Yes. He wants to "disappear from internet with his name and his email adress",
and because he "doesn't want to be annoyed about spam and some people who
could try to fetch information about him".

Unfortunately, the reasons (and my opinion about these reasons) are quite
irrelevant. It looks as if german law requires that I comply with his request,
regardless of his reasons.

His name and (obfuscated) email address.

I don't know:-)

I doubt that, but again, this is irrelevant for the request.

Google don't has my very early posts for reasons unknown to me. So I'm in a
somewhat better position:-)

I'm not really endangered as a person, so the problem could be worse:-) But
I've found out that his name is also in the HTML index pages, and if I do also
start to block access to the index pages, the archive becomes more and more
worthless. So it seems that there are only two options left: Find out how
hypermail works, and if it is safe to edit the pages manually, or block access
to the whole archive.

Mailing list archiver programs should really have an option to remove single
pages, names or whatever.
