Yes, I know these, and I know that there are some differences. I used
Access Basic (2.0) and Word Basic (6.0), that is, both variants before
the term "VBA" was introduced, and I know how much they differ. Anyway,
as far as I found out that days, although the variants differ, anything
possible with one variant seems possible with another one. Thus, I
expected the Scripting Host to be able to do what the other VB variants
do, too.

Anyway, I just had a (quick) look at the Windows help for WSH, but I
could not find anything similar. :-(

Ok, yes, you are right. I only found out that it works and thought you
used WordPad for this.
