Sorry for the delay, I've been away since sunday. So what is your proposed solution? cc65 uses linuxdoc, and I'm not sure if linuxdoc works with a newer version of sgmltools. Besides that, there are no ready to run RPM packages for the new version (or am I wrong?). > 2) the makefile for the sample-programs relies on the sourcetree... ie The makefile relies on the sourcetree, because I like to build the samples with the compiler that came with exactly these samples, and not with the one, that happens to lie around in /usr/bin. I know that this could be argued, there's also a valid reason for using the compiler from /usr/bin. But just changing the paths from one to the other is no real solution. Either we can have both possibilities, or we need two makefiles:-) > it would also be nice if the toplevel makefile had seperate targets for building and installing > the executables/libraries/documentation and sample programs. (i can supply that too). Greg has taken over the top level makefile. Greg, are you listening?
