I was thinking of the variables that are used by the subroutines in LOWCODE. It is easier -- and runs faster -- to put their "personal" data with them in that safe space than it is to make those routines be able to handle whatever kind of memory-banking that they might encounter (in order to find their [possibly hidden] data elsewhere). ---------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe from the list send mail to majordomo_at_musoftware.de with the string "unsubscribe cc65" in the body(!) of the mail.
