Well, many people can (and they often do!) ask (even me): "why is it usefull to take care about 'so old' machines, even the slowest/cheapest buyable machine (which is cheaper than buying a C64 on e-bay) nowdays has much-much more power than these machines!". But as usual, I always stuck with another question instead: what's the point of collecting stamps? Or anything else?
