For pixels we have tgi_setpixel() and tgi_getpixel().

For bitmaps tgi_setbitmap() is understandable tgi_getbitmap() is a bit 
obscure. Would there be a screen grab function to pick areas of the 
screen buffers or the real screen?

If not, then we could safely drop the "set". We do not have tgi_setbar() 
or tgi_setline() either.
