The Atari *does* have subdirectories, so there may be a d_type field there
(or should be?)

Ok, I've added

_DE_ISREG(t), _DE_ISDIR(t), _DE_ISLBL(t) and _DE_ISLNK(t)

for the CBMs. They're documented in funcref.sgml.

Implementations for other
platforms are currently missing, so anybody maintaining a platform that has
dirent.d_type, please go ahead :-)

Done for the Apple II.

The Atari doesn't have d_type so now only Lynx is left to do...
