When I still was a student, I worked through all of Volume 1, and much of Volume 2. I stopped when I did not have much time left anymore. I also looked into Volume 3, but there, I only searched for things I really needed. However, I think this is the most important single book - ahem: book series ;) - from which I learned much for computer science. Sometimes, MIX is in the way, but I never thought it to be so bad that it becomes unreadable. > Even if it gets through to mostly to some older geeks > these days (which is the second part of what I'd be tempted to say ;-) Well.. yes, unfortunately. When I was working at the University, I found out that many of the young students did not even know who Don was! This is really a pity... Regards, Spiro. -- Spiro R.
