Escuse me; I just discovered my error: I disabled the segments no longer used but forgot to change the startup segment address. Silly me! :( ________________________________ From: Joseph Rose <rose.joseph12@yahoo.com> To: cc65 mailing list <cc65@musoftware.de> Sent: Tuesday, December 6, 2011 11:00 AM Subject: [cc65] Hidden64 update: problem with updating Recently, I downloaded the latest version of cc65 and discovered that Hidden64 is no longer compatible with it. I tried to change the library code around for the new style and got to the point where it compiles. However, when I run it under WinVice, WinVice complains about a HLT instruction. I started the monitor and foun that, in the start-up code, the number string '2061,' along with the neighboring bytes, are repeated. I am using the default crt0.s file in the c64 library. What can cause the repeat? ---------------- Joseph Rose, a.k.a.
