[cc65] ca65 negative constant question

Hi,

I like to know if there is a way to use negative constants in ca65.

I get a range error when using

lda #-73

and like to know how to overcome this.

(The actual situation is more complex, the constant is a result of an 
address calculation.)

The only 'documentation' I found regarding this topic is the mailing 
archive entry
"Expression usage question" from 2004-04-09. So is there a way now?
