There is a "GenRic Colouriser" program that is used to do pass-through syntax highlighting of text output, and the command is called 'grc'. This unfortunately conflicts with the GeOS Resource Compiler that comes with cc65, meaning I can't have both installed on my system without renaming one. This is unfortunate, especially as I don't use the GeOS stuff but can nevertheless not install the stock Debian/Ubuntu cc65 package. Are there dependencies on the name within cc65? Could it perhaps be renamed grc65 for consistency with the other binaries? Alternatively, who maintains the Ubuntu/Debian package of cc65? Perhaps grc could be moved somewhere under /usr/lib/cc65 instead of hanging out in /usr/bin.. Just throwing it out there. I realize this is not going to make anyone's priority list. :) -- Mark J.
