Although the various cc65 APIs are for sure not just the least common dominator of all supported targets it doesn't make sense at all to even discuss topic which are based on very special hardware available in just one target, does it? An example: One could surely create a cool sound / music library based on the SID (?) in some CBM machines. But where's the point? I personally don't consider this an TGI discussion anymore...
