thats a very good point that cant be mentioned often enough (IMHO, the 
documentation should mention that too, in big fat letters)

tgi is a porting layer that makes it possible to create simple graphical apps 
that do not require lots of performance and features. period. its not suited 
for realtime anything. period. :)

maybe someone should write a simple rotating cube demo for tgi to demonstrate 
this "problem" =)
