imho a drive that sends out a different start address is broken =P

however, checking the address when reading the directory is pointless too :)

btw werent you looking for some drive that omits the first header line from 
the directory? -> http://noname.c64.org/csdb/release/?id=83066 ... see the 
comments for the problems it causes =P
