Some sort of DMA is always nice to have and if i would design a 6502
computer, real or virtual, it would have such a thing.
You could always move some map data around. ;)

Tixiv from das-labor even used the special DTV hardware things out of
cc65.
If the das-labor.org SVN Server would response i could point you to the
source for some inspiration, but roulette seems to be crashed. :-/
