[cc65] Solution to Compiling under OS X 10.4?

I remember reading that someone was having problems compiling cc65 
using OS X 10.4

I have been hesitant to update to 10.4, because I need to make sure 
some of the open source apps am using and plan to use are compatible 
with 10.4.

I searched the archive and can't find if a solution has been found...

Has a solution to the compiling under 10.4 been found yet?
