I have been asked to remove the name and mail address of someone who wrote in the list from the mailing list archive. Since the mailing list archive is more than a set of HTML pages (it's more like a database), I don't really know what happens if I edit anything manually, and I don't even know if the HTML pages are not recreated from somewhere on occasion. Finding out all this would take too much time, so I'm trying to find other solutions. Currently I have two ideas: 1. Take down the mailing list 2. Ask someone else to manage the mailing list archive and handle removal requests. If someone wants to volunteer for 2. or has other ideas, I would be glad to hear about it.
