(I just tried with cc65-snapshot-win32-2.10.5.20050331-1.zip, too).

I found a problem with the installer: I did the following:

- I did *not* unzip the win32 .zip file, but just looked at it through
the XP ZIP browser (which shows the ZIP file as an ordinary
  directory).
- I double-clicked on install.vbs. It was very quick and created the
  start menu entries.
- Anyway, nothing was installed, and no single entry in the program menu
worked. I could not even uninstall cc65 since the uninstall info was
  missing.
- Unfortunately, I could not even install cc65 correctly now, since it
recognized that it is already installed. Anyway, it could not
uninstall itself, so you are stuck.

Regards,
   Spiro.
