[cc65] Is an abc-driver acceptable?

Stefan Haubenthal sent me a proposal for an advanced sound interface. I
answered the mail not realizing that it wasn't directed to the list. Because
my mail is also a reply on Karris mail regarding the abc interface, I'll
forward a copy to the list:
