There are in principle two different way to do it: 1) hook up the C128 to an PC connected to the Internet and use the C128 as a terminal to the PC 2) hook up the C128 directly to the Internet and run TCP/IP on the C128 I am very much a purist in this and consider option 2) as the only "real" way to get the C128 connected to the Internet, but a lot of people think that option 1) is an acceptable way to get their C128 to feel like it was on the net. Option 1) is usually easier to setup. For 2), you will need either an Ethernet cartridge like RR-Net/TFE or ETH64 or a serial cartridge like Swiftlink or SilverSurfer and one of the software packages that supports TCP/IP (Contiki, LNG, and Novaterm10 comes to mind). LNG and Novaterm10 supports a modem connection, which currently Contiki does not. With an Ethernet cartridge you will currently need a fixed IP address or a NAT router. If you settle with option 1), there are web sites that should be helpful. I guess that a lot of people use the HyperLink software http://www.armory.com/~spectre/cwi/hl/ and there may also be helpful information over at the TelBBS site http://www.telbbs.com/.
