[cc65] cc65 calling conventions

Hi all,

Is there documentation regarding the calling conventions used by CC65? 
I need to mix C and assembly and I like to play by the rules.

I've seen some fragments in the documentation that relate to this, but 
not a rigorous description (but then perhaps I missed it).
