Provided that the hardware fits.  The plus/4 user port connector (the plastic
case) is shallower or narrower than that of the C64 and VIC-20.

There are no RS-232 drivers in the PET KERNAL.  I wonder how Commodore
come around to writing the RS-232 routines for the VIC-20.  Maybe a third
party had developed an RS-232 driver for the PET user port?
