Hello Ulrich, considering the afford to optimize the cc65 code i previously posted, i think you are right. I don't want to insist of optimize a tax instruction. This would be ridiculous. But perhaps there will be found a lot of other situations, where unoptimized code is generated. In the sum, they perhaps will lead to lot of bigger code. Maybe the generation of the unoptimized code in different situations is somehow related. So that one change fixes all of them. So i think that i(and all other users) should inform you, if i(they) run about similar situations. That's what i think of it.
