ehrm... can't gnu objcopy do that job aswell ? sth like

objcopy -I BINARY -O SREC infile outfile

should do the trick (i havent tried that though :=P)

i think atleast for *nix users thats a good alternative (since objcopy is
already installed on most *nix systems)
