That is weird. What does that window's title-bar say? I can make the console window stay open, by changing a property of the file, C:\WINDOWS\_default. (The title-bar says, "[Inactive c:\cc65\bin\utod.exe]". The console-black-space is empty because it shows only a program's console-display. utod says nothing when there are no errors.) But, that window closes normally when I click the X button.
