[...] It's fixed in the head branch but will not be fixed in 2.9.2, because the new type conversion code is too complex for a backport, and I don't have a smaller solution that could be applied to 2.9.2. So as already noted on the Known Bugs page, users of 2.9.2 will have to live with that problem.
