Higher serial speeds - baudrates higher than 19200 are more common than
multiport stuff for 6502 IMO.
Anyway, I'd opt for having only one driver at a time, but with option for more
than one port (two for simplicity). E.g. only DUART on IDE64 or only 16551
(AFAIR it has two ports) or only two 6551s (at different I/O base addresses).
