oh yes - vi, vim, emacs, xemacs...all very very straightforward :) -----Original Message----- From: owner-cc65_at_musoftware.de [mailto:owner-cc65_at_musoftware.de] On Behalf Of Adam Dunkels Sent: Sunday, March 09, 2003 1:24 PM To: cc65_at_musoftware.de Subject: Re: [cc65] Recommended Text Editor On Sat, 2003-03-08 at 23:27, Todd Elliott wrote: > Any recommendations? They both have syntax highlighting for C and assembler code, but it is quite well hidden deep within the help files and obscure configuration options. In emacs, it is called "font lock mode", and can be enabled by pressing Alt-X (och Meta-X) and then write "font-lock-mode" (without quotes) and press return. I'm pretty sure there is a way to enable this by using the configuration GUI, but I'm not sure how it is done. If all else fails, the ~/.emacs configuration file can be used to set this as the default. /adam -- Adam Dunkels <adam_at_sics.se> http://www.sics.se/~adam/ ---------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe from the list send mail to majordomo_at_musoftware.de with the string "unsubscribe cc65" in the body(!) of the mail. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe from the list send mail to majordomo_at_musoftware.de with the string "unsubscribe cc65" in the body(!) of the mail.
