Sounds like you used 'Ctrl-2' instead of 'Shift-2'. 'Ctrl-2' on Atari
'calls' the beeper... (The position of 'Ctrl' and 'Shift' on Atari
keyboards is swaped... may this 'emulates' the emulator too..?)
