The CBM routines work for me. And Ullrich want's everything to be 
standard compliant. So things are really portable. I have not enough 
sparetime to implement it.

The real problem is that "cbm" is not just the c64. So there are some 
more types of drives involved. I think it's just like the graphic 
library and the discussed RAM extension API, something that needs 
loadable modules. Sounds a bit odd as you'll need IO support then to 
load the modules that give IO support ;-)
