If too many variables are declared as "zero page" than the linker could halt and produce an error. The programmer could then "go over" his modules and reduce the # of variables that are declared as "zero page". Suppose he used one include file to declare "zero page" variables so he could easily keep-track of how much space he is using for zero-page variables. Anyone know how the 68HC11 compilers handle "zero page" variables? Respectfully and Best Regards, Paul ---------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe from the list send mail to majordomo_at_musoftware.de with the string "unsubscribe cc65" in the body(!) of the mail.
