My provider and the DSL carrier decided to upgrade some ATM router software
last night (without telling me of course - because I'm just the customer).
Because of this upgrade, my internet connection has been down til today
afternoon. There were throughput problems and several shorter outages since
then. I've had a phone call with one of the technicians this evening. If
nothing else helps, they will reboot the router around midnight.
Hopefully the line will be reliably up again starting this night. Sorry for
the inconvenience.
