Hi all,

I never would have brought this up on this list, but since someone
asked.... I'm desperately looking for an extra SID chip (preferably a 6581
not an 8580) for my SX-64. Developing audio applications for the SX was my
original reason for getting started with cc65. :-) Anyhow, I'm not sure
what is wrong with the chip that is in the SX now, but it produces noises
that have only a faint resemblance to what they should (read as clicks and
pops instead of tones, and one oscillator is completely silent).

I know that I could pick up a used C64 on Ebay and pop the SID out of it,
but I'd prefer not to render an otherwise functional C64 silent!

If anyone has any suggestions, please contact me off list.

Thanks a million,
Eric
