looks pretty good to me.... i like the idea of taking the borland-api
as a guideline aswell (my file i/o stuff turned out to be pretty
turbo-c like aswell ;=))...

one thing though: having different drawing styles/patterns is probably
not a good idea.... manipulating single pixels is slow enough already
;=) actually, anything beyond solid, 1 pixel wide
lines/boxes/circles/whatever is probably not really worth the effort
(and you could still generate patterns etc yourself when you really
need them)
