Without knowning which problems you encountered, it is quite difficult to
offer a solution. The most common cases are given on the ftp portal page (you
get this when you enter the ftp server from the link on the cc65 main web
page). Be sure to read (and understand!) what it says and your chances for a
successful download will improve greatly.
