If you have a look at the bugs page (www.von-bassewitz.de/uz/cc65/bugs.html), you will see the Eric has submitted a lot of really helpful bug reports (in fact, he is probably the person who has found most of the know bugs in the last 3-4 month). I have exchanged many mails with him, and I know he is working a lot with the compiler, so I would assume that the project he mentions is actually using cc65. I didn't know that there are sunplus CPUs that are fully 6502 compatible, but this does not mean that it is not possible. Since most information about the sunplus CPUs is not available to the public (they claim it's a trade secret), it is difficult to find out. Judging from my conversations with Eric, I'm sure that the project he mentioned is using cc65, and I'm glad to hear about it. Talking about cc65 web pages: Chris Ward has a page about the use of cc65 with his homebuilt 6502 system. http://home.freeuk.net/c.ward/6502/dev.html.
