The only issue I can see with tgi_textstyle() is the missing
documentation on the meaning of the 'dir' parameter. One needs to
check out the header file to find out that there are two macros to be
used.

BTW: The Apple2 hires driver supports 'dir' (and would happily support
the values 2 and 3 as well if not filtered by the kernel).
