just to give you an impression of 'the other side' aswell, _I_ do
prefer CCS64 for most stuff....

- its the only emu that has the ruling 384x232 mode with scanlines,
almost looks like the real thing
- its sligtly more accurate in emulating some misterious quirks of the
c64 hardware
- i like the userinterface better (personal taste i guess) ... the way
you browse/select files in vice sux major dick IMHO ;)
- its reasonable faster (important point if you got a pc from last
century like me ;=D)

mmmh unless i understood something completely wrong, _I_ got a bunch
of seperate .exe files (x64,x128 etc) so you ARE switching emulators -
no matter their names are simelar (and yes, it doesnt matter that they
are related to the same codebase either)

nevermind ;=)

uhm, well the only thing i can say to THAT.... ARGL! it SUX! ;=D
having a 'arkward user interface' seems to be one of the guidelines of
the vice-team though, so its probably just what they intended M)

i prefer the action-replay's monitor at any time....

one time, i'll kick my own butt and write a decent debugger for VICE
8=)
until then... checkout the no$gmb (the leading gameboy emulator that
is) and see how a real debugger looks like! (www.work.de/nocash)
